SUMMARY:Fair Housing in Practice: What Every REALTOR® Should Know
DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Texas REALTORS  Diversity and Fair Housing Committee as part of its Fair Housing Fireside Chat Series\, this session provides REALTORS  with a practical look at fair housing requirements and how they apply to everyday real estate practice. David Pernell\, Program Supervisor with the Texas Workforce Commission Civil Rights Division\, and Patrick W. Williams\, Manager of Fair Housing Investigations with the Texas Workforce Commission Civil Rights Division\, will draw on their experience working with fair housing issues and complaints in Texas to discuss common concerns involving property management\, leasing\, REALTOR  responsibilities\, and situations that can create fair housing risk. Through moderated discussion\, practical examples\, and current updates\, the session will also explore evolving issues related to support animals and recent guidance and case developments.
