This course provides students with a step-by-step method to identify the right builder for them and their clients. Course topics include:
1.
How to build rapport with their selected builder’s on-site agent.
2.
Questions to ask to understand the builder’s policies and procedures.
3.
How to tour a model home and a home under construction to understand the builder’s uniqueness.
4.
What to do with the builder’s printed materials so they can be shared with their clients.
5.
Reasons for sending a thank you note to the on-site agent.
6.
How to follow up with the on-site agent to earn builder referrals.
7.
To-do lists to reinforce course topics.
Agents receive ‘Stuff’ to strengthen their knowledge of what was taught during the course. In addition, agents are provided a social media message to post to friends, family, and acquaintances. The message describes what they have learned and makes a request to contact them if interested in a new or resale home.

The success of new home sales is not an accident. It is a planned event. This course provides agents with a plan that will enable them to work and connect with a new home builder. When the agent has completed the course to-do lists, they will understand how to communicate the value of new homes to their clients and earn the respect of the builder, which will lead to referrals from both the client and builder.
