The Broker Responsibility course addresses TREC’s perspective of the regulatory aspects of the management, operation, and supervision of a real estate brokerage firm in Texas. Students will gain an understanding and working knowledge of the law of agency and planning and organization of business entities. Plus they will learn the requirements for written policies and procedures, records retention and control, advertising. Lastly, participants will learn about the recruitment and training of agents, and the anatomy of a complaint filed with Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).

FREE FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY MEMBERS

Per Person: $60

Refund Policy: A full refund will be issued if notification is received 2 business days prior to the scheduled class, otherwise a $10 fee will be deducted from your refund. Partial refunds will NOT be issued if notification is not received by 12pm the business day before the scheduled class.

Primary and Secondary Members- If you are a no show you will be billed a no-show fee. If you are a no show for 3 free classes in a calendar year you will not be able to register for any of the free courses for the remainder of the year.

Zoom Broadcast
This is an online course, via Zoom, in a virtual classroom setting. An internet connection, speakers, microphone and a webcam (either built-in or attached to your computer) are required to take the course. All classes will be in the virtual setting and should be in a location that is free from distractions.
