Hot Buttons, Part A: The One to Four Family Contract
Tuesday, April 4, 2023 (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) (CDT)
Description
*This course has been approved and will count towards TREC's 3-hour contract course requirement* Agents and brokers have an obligation to represent their clients to the best of their ability. TREC provides the promulgated One to Four Family Residential Contract. Agents and brokers must be familiar with the contract form so that the consumers’ needs, wants and desires are competently addressed in the document. However, often an agent or broker may step outside of their competency to take care of a favorite client. This course will discuss how to make sure the license holders complete the contract form correctly. Additionally, appraisers must analyze any contract per USPAP.
