Presented by the Texas REALTORS® Diversity and Fair Housing Committee as part of its Fair Housing Fireside Chat Series, this session explores the current state of housing in Texas through the lens of data, market trends, and fair housing. 

Yanling G. Mayer, Ph.D., Research Economist with the Texas Real Estate Research Center at Texas A&M University, will share research and data on Texas housing trends and the factors shaping access to housing across the state. The discussion will examine demographic and market changes, housing availability and affordability, and barriers that may affect different communities and consumers. 

Through data-driven insights and discussion, attendees will gain a better understanding of the forces influencing Texas housing and what these trends may mean for REALTORS®, their clients, and the future of fair housing in the state.
